Is this passage worded correctly?
Only a few hours later, the rescue party arrived at the location where the warriors of Juramona were battling the assembled army of foresters. When the hundreds of tribesmen once again attacked the surrounded Ergothians, Tol led his men in an assault on the rear of the forester force. The rescue party’s charge broke the foresters’ attack, and during the fighting that ensued, Tol captured the chieftain of the Dom-shu tribe, Makaralonga, by defeating him in single combat. When the tribesmen discovered that their chieftain had been taken captive, they lost heart and even though they still outnumbered the Ergothians ten to one, they decided to retreat. However, the retreat became a rout when the Ergothians charged after the fleeing foresters and slew scores of them.
