After a few days of travel, the three left the Great Green and arrived in Ergothian territory. Tol then received a magical vision that brought him and his two companions together with Zala and Tylocost. The five discussed the fall of Juramona, and even though the town was destroyed, that was still Tol’s destination since there he could gather what remained of the warriors in the Eastern Hundred and begin the task of defeating the nomads. Tol asked for Tylococst’s assistance against the nomads, which the elf accepted with the hope that a victory would give him future opportunities in his homeland. While on the journey to the sacked town, Zala attempted to persuade Tol to immediately travel to Daltigoth as ordered by Valaran. Tol refused and explained to the half-elf that he would eventually reach the capital, though not before he defeated the nomad threat and not without an army behind him.
