Is this passage completely correct?

When Tol arrived in the capital, he was quickly brought before Nazramin himself. Tol learned that during his absence, it had appeared that Ackal IV had finally gone mad and that a council of the high lords had then been called. They had been preparing to appoint a regent when Nazramin and his Wolves broke into the palace and took control. Nazramin had ordered the execution of any who resisted his rule, including many of the Daltigoth warlords as well as Ackal IV’s chamberlain, Valid. Nazramin informed Tol that he planned on making Valaran his empress, which caused an enraged and weaponless Tol to attack the new emperor. Once the Wolves restrained Tol, Nazramin ordered that he be repeatedly beaten then thrown outside of the city walls.
