Later in 422 AC, Galdar was given an assignment by Sargonnas himself to ambush and capture Valthonis, the mortal form of Paladine, and take him to meet Mina to resolve her internal conflict and in turn settle the quarrel in the heavens. Leading a minotaur war party, Galdar confronted Valthonis, who willingly went into Galdar’s custody and was led away from his band of faithful. Galdar and Valthonis left the war party and marched into the valley of Neraka, where the minotaur had been instructed he would be approached by Mina.
