Is this paragraph grammatically correct?

Thomas did not believe that Jesus had risen from the dead until he saw Him. He regretted the fact that he believed in Jesus’ resurrection only when he saw Him. When Thomas saw Jesus, he said, “My Lord and my God”.

It is grammatically correct, but I would change the wording a little in the second sentence to avoid repetition of the word "saw."

He regretted the fact that he believed in Jesus' resurrection only after seeing Him.

Just a suggestion.
