is this paragraph correct or is there better way to rewrite this.
our company had a meeting last week, we had to demonstrate our product, everything went according to plan, but in the end on modlue was not working, that was the last thing we didn't want.

No negative. As Clive says, That was the last thing we wanted. The word last already gives the idea that we didn't want it, it was what we wanted least.
