Is this omitted?

Hello all,

Do you know the game "League of Legends"? There are monsters called "minions" which you can defeat. When the game starts, it announces to players that

"Minions Have Spawned."

My questions is why it's not "Minions have "been" spawned." Some told me you can omit the word 'been' like a newspaper article to make it short and strong.

Is it right? Can you sometimes omit the word 'been'(or any passive grammar) like the sentence "nuclear launch detected"?

Sorry to ask you this kind of vague question and I'll really appreciate any advice from you.

Thank you

pdsa Minions Have Spawned They reproduced (themselves). They made copies of themselves. "Minions have been spawned" means that someone else or something else has reproduced them.

Those 'minions' actually are produced from one building like bees from the hive. So, I thought "minions have 'been' spawned.' But the game message says "Minions have spawned."(This game is from USA)

Do you think the sentence can mean "Minions have spawned (themselves)"? Sorry to bother you again and thanks for your reply.

Yes. I thought it was clear from my previous post that I was saying that.

They are fictitious creatures, so it is not easy to speculate about their reproductive method.

I guess I had to explain more. Since they are fictitious creatures, people are confused what I mean here. I'll be more careful next time. Thank you for your advice, Clive! Thanks!
