Is this natural or not?
Apparently she's had a number of minor roles in Mexican movies, the last one being two years ago, so it seems like she might have pursued a career in acting.
Is the emboldened part perfectly natural in everyday speech or only in writing? Thanks.

Conversational:
I think I remember her playing some minor roles... Mexican movies. Yeah, not recent, like a couple of years ago. Maybe she went to acting school and that's why we haven't seen her in the latest flicks.
