I don't understand your use of the word gorgeous there. That would be something like 'I am totally in love with the idea of attending M.S.' and, of course, that wouldn't be appropriate. 'Gorgeous' means to express a very great feeling for someone or something.

I'm not a great expert on grammar and I'm hoping that someone else from EF will step in here

- I know what I like

- I know that I like pizza

I think the first introduces a noun phrase and the second introduces an indirect intentional thought. Beyond giving the examples, it is difficult to explain. As said, someone else may help us here!
