Is this natural English?
I want to do so well that I end up messing up.

meaning : I try too hard, and end up messing up?

Not really. Use one of these:

I want so badly to do well that I end up messing up.
I want to do well so badly that I end up messing up.
I try so hard to do well that I end up messing up.

In any of those you may substitute 'failing' for 'messing up'.
