Is this Motivation Letter good?

I'm applying for a Scholarship and they need a Motivation letter, I don't know if this is a good one or not, It is my first time to write one. here is the letter

Dear Sir\Madam,

First I would like to express my appreciation for this opportunity to apply for LiU International Scholarship. I am a graduate of Ain-Shams University holding a degree in Computer Science.

With the background knowledge I have in computer graphics, 3D Visualization and Interactive simulations I strongly feel that a master course in Advanced Computer Graphics will be very relevant to my practice back here in my country Egypt. I plan to work with research based groups in applied 3D Visualization sector as well as in local universities with an aim to improve research and human resource capacity building through training.
Owing to limited resources, I have not been able to proceed with further studies here in Egypt or elsewhere as I lack the necessary funds. I believe that LiU International Scholarship will be a great help to further my education and build a career. My future potential employer especially in the public sector such as local universities and research organizations will be a good channel where I can transfer the knowledge gained in an optimized manner to my country and future generations.
In addition I will get a chance through LiU International Scholarship to interact with students from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds drawn from all over the world. The exposure is important for interaction and integration of diverse ideas and perspectives pertaining to various global issues; for the world is a mosaic of different cultures and a single perspective cannot apply in all these cultures.
Finally I am determined to make the most out of the scholarship benefits. I will optimize my stay at Linköping University to garner a wealth of ideas that will apply when I return to my country and.
