This is an imaginary message to Jesus. Can you please help check that it is grammatically correct? Thanks for your help in advance.

First I would like to apologize for every time I ignored You and didn’t find the time to talk to You. From now on, I will do my best to speak to You through prayers and remember You by following your example. I really wish to change my life for the better and be a good example for others.
