To whom be concern,

I am writing this appeal letter to request your consideration regarding the --- Exam ( ) which held on -- -- 2010. I have four referred/deferred exams. Two of them are last opportunity to take it in this referred/deferred examinations period (28 June to 9 July 2010). I was focus more on this two to pass the exams. Why? Because I knew that I have a lot of problems regarding Exam Time Management, Exams skills and also writing skills. as I am an international student who get 5.5 in IELTS Exam and entered to the Pre-sessional English for 3 months in university of Hertfordshire, All my score was A!! . With note, that my undergraduate certificate is in Arabic and never had any modules in English that time. From the beginning I try to find out where exactly my weakness. Read many books, entered to intensive English courses, ask the lecturers. Improved a lot... yah, but still have to do something with writing and exams skills.

When I got the examination timetable, it was very stressful for me. As it is shows in this table.

The problem starts the days before the exam. I started to cover three subjects as we have six subjects to make sure that I will pass the exam this time.

Next day when I look at exam paper, I found out that the possibility to answer two questions from five is less than what I thought. It was two from four so the student who did not cover at least three subjects from six they will never pass the exam. We told the examiner that there are two similar questions (exam paper attached, please look at question two and five), and we are waiting for someone to solve the problem by change the question. as normally, one of the member of the faculty will be available for any problem regarding the exam day.

Ten minutes waiting for someone from the faculty of psychology but no one shows up. I tried to answered the other questions, hoping that before I finish answering the first question someone will come with the good news. When we heard that someone talked to the examiner, we were happy, but she told us that no one from the faculty is available!

On that time, one of students decided to leave the exam room. However, for me I tried hard to pass this exam by answering any question as this is the last chance for all of the student who attend to exam that day. Therefore, I answered two questions. I think any exams papers will never release after at least two from the faculty will check the exams questions to avoid any inconvenience.

Please, could you look at our situation?
So, if not all students passed the exam. Can we have another chance, or at least find out what better for all.

Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.

Regards,

Hi MKAS; You have written a very long letter to be reviewed. You will get a faster response if you ask for only one paragraph instead of pages. We want to help, but it is very time-consuming to work on long postings.
