Grammar

Is this grammatically correct?

A: Why are you trying so hard? You can't help me. You don't have any idea about how I feel, so why don't you just leave me alone.

B: Hasn't it occurred to you that I might be trying this hard because I actually do think I know how you feel?

Is this grammatically and idiomatically correct? Would you change anything at all to make it more natural?

Thanks a lot in advance.
