Is this grammatically correct?


History doesn't have to do with naked facts; they are worn with garments that are indicative of the general traditional leaning among scholars of a given generation, except for the few whom an unorthodox minority delivers, but such not distinguished by more or less prudery.

No, it remains convoluted. Too much info, really, crammed into one sentence-- and the referent problem remains. Perhaps:
