Is this grammatically correct?

00 "I confirmed my attendance to an oral test scheduled for July 17, 2007. Should an earlier time slot become available, I will most certainly be available to take that exam, even on short notice." 02 br

00 I am mostly confused about the "earlier time slot become available" part. I am unsure if this is ok...I want to say that should there be an earlier date, I am ready and willing to take that exam.. 02 br
