Is this grammatical?

"I couldn't turn my application in by the due date. I'm really concerned that I should have submitted by application before the due date! Would it pose any problems in being considered for admission?"

If it's a letter to the Admissions Office, you need to say a lot more.

eg the reason you were late.

Really, you should probably assume that it will cause problems, and explain why you deserve special consideration.
