Is this expression correct? " small number of member"

Hi.

When I talk with a friend, I want to say our company's team member is too small.

1. our team members are very small.
2. the number of team member is very small
3. not enough for member to work to do.

I have make 3 different phrase. Would you do me help what how to express about our team the number of members is small.

Can I just use small or a little instead of few?
No. Small members (or little members) would be very short. They would all be crowded around your knees, and you would trip over them.
