Is this email written correctly?

I am very sorry that my case took long time. I recived an email from the US Embassy 2 weeks a go. My case officer wrote me that they are finalizing my visa. However, he asked me to answer 2 questions and I replied his email.
I am still waiting for the result but I expect that they Inform me very soon. I will send them another email tomorrow to let them know that there is a waiting list for the course. I hope they understand how important is for me to get an answer about my visa very soon.
I will let you know you about the outcome as soon as I get the final decision from the Embassy. I am extremely sorry that my case caused a lot of problem for you. Unfortunately, my hand is short and I couldn't do anything to speed up the process.
