Is this email written correctly

I was not very lucky with my foot fracture. I fell down from the stairs and my ankle was twisted, subsequently my foot fractured. Fortunately, I am not going to work for 3 weeks. Since, the accident happened at my working place, so they will cover everything and will pay me while I am recovering at home.
