Is this correct in present tense?

Dear Friends,

I feel like I know her deeply even though I've never met her. (Should it be 'I've never' or just 'I never'? Or both okay?)

For the situation where people meet, it's usually "I've never ...", but if you say (or write) "I never ...", it won't be the end of the world. Some people do use that second one, especially if the other person has already died and there is no chance of ever meeting her again.
