Is this correct grammarly?

I set up my experiment as per protocol using two transparent plastic containers which I bought from a nearby shop. I used Thompson & Morgan cress seeds from my local garden centre. The 'no light' container was placed in a single wall cardboard box which I made sure that any holes were covered. The control and test seeds were placed on a shelf in the living room away from direct sunlight. I measured the length of the seedlings on day 3,5 and 7. The late germinating seeds were very tiny so I had to use a magnifying glass for better accuracy.
