Abstract
Over time, schools and recreational institutions in Denmark have moved closer and politically, interdisciplinary cooperation has been decided between teachers and social educators in primary schools. This cooperation is not obvious, but implies some challenges. Evaluation programs, research projects and reports have concluded that some of the challenges are asymmetric power relationships between teacher and pedagogy professions, and different views on what children should learn. Recently, research projects have identified the same challenges, and by law they have implemented a primary school reform that requires cooperation between the professions. Social educators must now take care of supportive education in primary school, with the declaration that students should professionally develop and develop versatile. Continuously, research has highlighted the challenges, and there is also massive media awareness about the primary education reform. The problems in the cooperation continue to apply in practice. Through qualitative study interviews, the experiences of respondents are assumed through a hermeneutical science-theoretical perspective, and quantitative survey studies are used as comparative substantive empirical evidence. It should be shown that organizational frameworks and management can have an impact on the power struggles between social educators and teachers in the Danish primary school.
