Is this correct?

Hi,

Is this correct?

"Blood samples were collected from each rat before, and 7 and 14 days after exposure. MDA and TAC levels were measured as oxidative stress indices."

Does the meaning changes if I replace the underlined part with the following?

"...before exposure, and after 7 and 14 days of exposure."

Thanks!
