Is this correct :

I don't know if I have any grammar problem in the below phrase ?
Please let me know its correct

"I prefer to take a bus when I'm going out to work. I'm a simple student and taxi charge is too expensive for me. Bus is cheaper than taxi, although in some cases it takes more time to arrive, but I have to leave a little soon. "
