That's how most AE speakers say it.

As a BE speaker, I say 'the twenty-first of March, twenty-fifteen'. However, my wife prefers to call the year 'two thousand and fifteen'.

Thanks, I'm wondering if these are correct:

e.g.,

Today is the twenty-second of March, twenty-oh-one. (March 22, 2001)
Today is March twenty second, two thousand one. (March 22, 2001)
Today is March twenty second, twenty nil one. (March 22, 2001)
