If you can't imagine what happen then it's not fine.

I am describing a movie, projected by an old movie projector. The scenes were blurry, jumping around, changing from one scene to another.

Is it still fine? or is there a better way to describe it?

The images were coarse and blurry, the motion jittery and jumpy.
