I heard this on tv and was wondering if it is natural to say 'stay consistent to'? Don't you think that you need to stay consistent to your approach. If you are going to give him a C-, you can't give her a B for work that is as bad. Thanks

I'm not sure all native speakers no how to speak properly. The question is if you would have said it's correct had I said it was a non native speaker who said this. I'm not convinced it is correct to say consistent to your approach.
