Is this correct?

If someone sends you a message saying, "Hey, can you follow me on Twitter?", can you say, "Fine... (Grudgingly accepts)"?

Thanks!

Do you want them to infer that you're reluctant to do so?

You could say "yeah, I guess so" if you want to show reluctance.

(Note: it's imply, not infer)

I suppose the comment was directed at me.

By writing "Yeah, I guess so.", you would imply that you're reluctant to follow them.

Your being reluctant is what they would infer from such a response.

It's intended as a joke - you're actually more than happy to follow them.

I was just wondering if "accept" is the correct verb..

Sorry. I was reading on my phone and misread what you had written. I thought it said you wanted to infer, not that you wanted them to infer.

Ming YinI was just wondering if "accept" is the correct verb..
Not really.
You can say any of the following:
Okay
I will!
Sure
I look forward to reading your tweets.
And many other thIngs.

But the person didn't make an offer so there is nothing to accept.
