Is this correct?

Is this all correct and is it clear that the "he" refers to Alegni? FYI- Previous content shows Alegni is the Shadovar, Barrabus is the assassin.
Alegni instructed Barrabus to convince the lord of the city to change the bridge’s name; however, when Barrabus showed disdain towards the Shadovar, he used his magical sword Charon’s Claw to punish the assassin.
