Is this correct

we are looking forward to meet you?
or
we look forward to meeting you

Top answer

Hi, These are both correct (note capitalization of the first letter and period/full stop at the end): - We are looking forward to meeting you. - We look forward to meeting you. I was taught that the former is informal, and the latter is formal.

Hi,

These are both correct (note capitalization of the first letter and period/full stop at the end):

- We are looking forward to meeting you.
- We look forward to meeting you.

I was taught that the former is informal, and the latter is formal.

In addition to what Tanit has said, I would like you to pay attention that "to look forward to + doing", not "to look forward to + do".
