Is this correct?

why was I introduced to these type of people? should there be a "s" after type?

Hi,

If you're referring to multiple types - more than one type, then use the plural, "types."

If you're referring to only one type of people, then say "this type of people."

The fact that "people" is plural has no effect on chosing "type" or "types." But "this/these" must agree with "type/types." (this type / these types)
