Is this correct?

I especially thought that my car was unrepairable because I was not sure whether or not if I would ever be able to make it as new again.

there is no need of whethere and if in the same sentence you can use either whether or if eg- he asked whether he could do the work? he asked if he could do the work? both are same in meaning.
