It means that you don't feel well in that place, or, worse, that others think that you shouldn't be in that place.

The word "deal" is a verb in the sentence, and "deal with" basically means the same thing as "handle" in the sentence. Look at definition 3 for "deal with" (under Idioms & Phrases) and also definition 4b (under the verb "deal").
