Is this conversation correct with 'would'?

James: You are having the ice cream alone. Can I have some?
Jack: you wouldn't like it.
Alex: what makes you think James wouldn't like it, Jack?
Jack: because it's coconut ice cream and I know he doesn't like coconut.
Is this conversation correct with 'would'? Please help.

It's correct, but personally I find "will" more idiomatic here. The ice cream is physically present and the situation is more "real" than "hypothetical".

You won't like it. What makes ... won't like it, Jack?

That seems very unnatural to me. I would say something like:

Are you going to eat all that ice cream (by yourself)?
