A Dream in Life
Like any other youth, you have a dream in life, don’t you? You have to start doing little things now to achieve it.
Sometimes you think that you can’t reach your dream simply because you’re poor. Poverty, however, doesn’t matter. Your talents are among the resources that can be of big help to you.
When I was in the kindergarten, my teacher asked the class what our ambitions were. She called me when I raised my hand. "Ma’am, I want to be a teacher." From then on, when other teachers asked the same question, I answered the same thing.
Even now, I hold on to my dream of becoming a teacher. I want to be a teacher because I want to help children learn more about life.
There are many ways to reach your dream. One is to be yourself, that is, to follow your desires, not others’. Another is to study harder and finish your studies. Besides, it is necessary to have a strong determination to carry on in the face of difficulties. If you follow these ways, it’ll seem to you that the long time you have to spend on reaching your dream is just too short.
Whatever your dream in life, just hold on to it. Just don’t forget to ask God for guidance and help.
