Should I have used 'in real time'? Would you say sentence 2 is correct?

1 Car service A has an app that allows you to track in real time the driver that is going to pick you up.
2 Car service B has an app that allows you to track your driver but not in real time. The app updates every 2 minutes and lets you know where the driver is every 2 minutes.
