Is this assuredly a comma splice? Is there an opposing argument.
The source of propulsion in series structures is singular, the energy that propels the vehicle comes exclusively from the electric battery.
What follows after the comma clarifies "singular." This, I think, is my first comma splice, and I don't want to accept it. Is there anyway that this could be seen as an appositive or something. Is there anyway to justify this?

Hi, Welcome to the Forum. Not as far as I'm concerned. I'd put a period.

Not as far as I'm concerned.
I'd put a period.
Some people might suggest a semi-colon.
Best wishes, Clive
