Is this all worded correctly?

After Raistlin passed the Test with the magical aid of Fistandantilus and his body was shattered, Par-Salian bestowed two gifts on him. First, he granted hourglass eyes on Raistlin, which forced him to see the accelerated passage of time unfold on those around him. Secondly, Par-Salian gave Raistlin the powerful Staff of Magius, and the young mage then departed the Tower with his brother.
