Is this all worded correctly?
After discovering that Sammaster had gained control over the Dracorage mythal by fusing his phylactery with the ancient magic, Pavel was forced to endure the poisonous touch of the mystical hellfire that the undead mage was using to power the enchantment in order to perform the counterspell. While his companions defended his efforts from the two draconic golems that served the lich as guardians, Pavel was able to destroy the phylactery, which resulted in both the end of the Rage and the final death of Sammaster; however, the cleric of Lathander quickly died of his wounds as well.
