Before battle could truly be joined between the two armies, the bronze dragon Quelsandas, who had made a prior arrangement with Sammaster, betrayed his comrades and invoked a spell that unleashed the frenzy of the Rage within not only the other bronzes, but also unexpectedly within himself.
