Is this all correct with the many commas?
Medan’s rule was harsh, but not cruel, and he did not establish slave camps, nor dispatch extermination squads, as the elves expected. He brought peace, as well as law and order to the land, and allowed the elves to live their lives as they were accustomed too and without much interference.
