Is this all correct and should I add the "however"?

Once the group returned to the castle with an unconscious Forlo and an injured Hult, Eldako treated their wounds while telling Hult and Shedara about the Wyrm-Namer, an ancient silver dragon who could identify the dragon scale left in Coldhope Keep. Before the companions could begin their journey, (however,) minotaur soldiers of the Imperial League arrived to arrest Forlo for leaving his post after the battle against the Uigan.
