Following the battle, the two Juramona hordes departed the forest and returned to the imperial camp near Caergoth to report the death of Odovar, the sighting of Dermount, and their repulse by the surprisingly well-armed and well-led forest tribes. Once they arrived at the encampment, the soldiers of Juramona learned how the war was not going as Amaltar and his advisors had anticipated. It was not just the Eagles and the Plains Panthers that had suffered large losses and defeat.
