Is this a run-on sentence?

Hi

My name is Alan. I am going to take a English Writing Placement Test soon. But I find that sentences I write are sometimes run-on, but I'm not sure. Here is a sentence I wrote:

By this, we can see that she had a chance to become who she is today, she was willing to wait 8 hours, she put effort and sang amazingly, and here she is today: step by step, she has gone "this far" - a distance that we all have never expected, a distance that might lead her to grow even bigger and stronger, a distance that we all have walked through with Jane.

Yes, it is a one whole sentence. I can't find any run-on error, although I sorta think that there's something wrong, but I'm not sure. Please correct it for me if there is a run-on error? Thank you all very much.

Thank you very much for the quick reply, dear Clive.

The sentence I provided was just the longest sentence I found from my daily blog entry. I used to think that my writing style is very unique, because I can always easily blow out many words and put them into one whole sentence, but too many of my peers have been telling me that my sentences are run-on.
