Could someone please tell me if "to talk to" is a phrasal verb? If not, in this sentence, what part of speech is it and is it okay to have a preposition "to" followed by another preposition?

"I have no one to talk to at school."

Even if there really were such a thing as a phrasal verb, "to talk to" would not be one of them!

They are not a single constituent at word level, but three separate words/categories. The first "to" belongs to the category (part of speech) 'subordinator'. "Talk" is of course a verb, and the second "to" is a preposition, more precisely a 'stranded' preposition since it has no complement.

"At school" is a preposition phrase, a separate constituent, functioning as a locative adjunct in clause structure. It answers the question 'where do you have no one to talk to?'

Is this a phrasal verb?
