How would you have written it?

Photography is in peril due to new technology that allows people to make snapshots of video footage. Their quality being as good as pictures taken with still cameras, photography as looked at from a career standpoint is in peril. People will no longer hire photographers but videographers.

Since the quality is as good as pictures taken with still cameras, photography , as looked at from a career standpoint , is in peril. People will no longer hire photographers but cinematographers .
