Have you ever felt homesick or like the world is moving around you? Well I have, and let me tell you about my first day back at VLI homesickness at its finest. I walked into VLI and the first thing that happened my very first day at VLI was this one teacher asked me " Are you one of the Parr students that is going to tour here ". After she said that every other teacher bombarded me with remarks and questions I felt like I was drowning in a deep well, I only managed to mutter " I am a 6th grader". That was enough to take the teachers off of me but then I had to figure out where I was going in this maze.
Well, I did try to find my way in this maze that we call middle school, but then I was abruptly stopped by the tamer, the warrior, the dean THE PRINCIPAL. The Principal first said to me "Why aren't you at the orientation", in which I responded with " Huh". Then the principal explained to me the whole orientation which is basically a tour around the school for Clear Connection kids in 6th grade. I wasn't super excited about meeting everyone but it was better than slouching around not being able to stop thinking about home and my mom's taquitos so I went with her.
Once I got to the orientation I was actually feeling good about myself, and some bullies approached me and started talking to me. Are conversation went like this " Hey shorty what are you doing here " I responded with " WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE", the bullies were a little bit shaken up but they gathered for a final strike " You don't belong" said the bullies ,which kind of rattled me and made me question whether I belong in this school. At this point I wanted to go home a lot I was basically ready to run out the door, but then the principal said they were letting us go for 8th period which made my heart stop. I just wanted to go home.
After the principal announced that they were letting us go for 8th period the school turned into a zoo the kids that have been here since the 1st nine weeks raced out of their classrooms, and the kids in the orientation just tried to find their way around the school. The first thing I did was try to take in my surroundings every kid was heading toward the north side of the school, so I went that way as well after that I actually looked at my schedule and realized that I had ELA for 8th period which meant I was heading in the right direction. After I knew that I was heading in the right direction I went to the very north side of the school then turned. There it was my ELA classroom. When I got to my ELA classroom I was jumping for joy I had finally found my class, but the real test was walking in I tried to stop my nerves as best as I could then walked in. When I walked in I felt a thousand eyes on me they were all filled with the question " Who is this outsider", I steadily walked closer to them and said " Hello I am Varun". After I said that the class went " Hey Varun" back I was elated that the class and the teacher said that, the teacher then proceeded to show me around the class and give me a seat the students were very nice to me and for the first time in this day I wasn't missing home at all.
For the rest of 8th period it was pretty smooth sailing I made a friend named Tobin and we talked all of class, he brang up something about buses and how we had to find them on our own which kind of scared me, but with a friend by my side I could do anything. Sadly the teacher gave us homework which dimmed my mood but not that much, after she did that some kids tried to bully me about being new but I plainly said "I belong" which shook them off for good. Well that was my personal narrative and I hoped you liked this rollercoaster of events I took you through, but I have one more question to ask you. Have you ever been homesick before?
It is a nice story. But for someone who doesn't know you, we have no idea if VLI is a boarding school or a regular school. Also, we don't know what ELA is.

For example:
