These are OK:

I was wanted for beating my wife.
I wanted to be beaten.

The pattern, "I was [past participle] to be [past participle] .", is ungrammatical, but with additional wording it can be used in certain situations, for example:

I was readily hired by the company only to be worked to the bone in a position with no chance of advancement.

I was flattered and entertained by her only to be dumped unceremoniously three months later.
