"The perpetual friction have occured because of the lack of information of the country. "

Is this a correct sentence? If not, could you please explain why is it wrong?

No. Here are a few comments.
'Friction' requires the singular verb 'has', not 'have'.

Could you please explain why you use "about" instead of "of"?
I mean, what is the difference, "information of the country" vs. "information about the country" ?? I always get confused.

There should be no confusion. 'Information of' + topic does not collocate in English: they do not go together.
